Beyond Academics: Building Success with SEL
This is a three-hour hands-on course focusing on Social and Emotional Learning in the classroom. Participants will wear at least two hats during the course, that of a teacher and a student's hat, discussing and applying a range of SEL activities and games to use in the classroom. We will play, share and learn together and you will leave with a lot of ideas to use, as well as with a booklet containing games to play with your students, strategies on how best to approach them, and information about Social and Emotional Learning
Sustainable stories, sustainable crafts, sustainable learning
This is a six-hour very practical seminar on YL activities, based on recycled or very low-cost materials. Creating memorable English learning experiences for young learners is essential for fostering a sense of safety, enjoyment, and active participation in the classroom. By repurposing everyday household objects, often discarded as waste, we can create, together with our young learners, whole new worlds of magic. These will provide them with the necessary language acquisition for self-expression.
